JHS Students are sponsoring a coat drive, food/personal hygiene drive Dec. 3 - Dec. 19

The Jefferson high school band is sponsoring a coat drive this Holiday Season.  Gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves and NEW socks may be dropped off at the high school office or to any band member from December 3 - December 19.  All items will be donated to the Salvation Army in Monroe.

Student Council and NHS are co-sponsoring a canned food/personal hygiene drive.  All items will be donated to the Oaks of Righteousness homeless shelter and soup kitchen.  Currently, their homeless shelter is almost at capacity, and they are in need of personal hygiene items.  They also always appreciate donations of canned food goods to distribute to the hungry.

Toilet paper
Hand soap
Shower soap
Shampoo
Conditioner
Kids shampoo
Deodorant 
Toothpaste
Kids toothpaste
Toothbrush
Feminine hygiene products 
Wet wipes (baby wipes)
Lotion 
 
Every 1st hour that collects a minimum of 50 items or more, will be entered into a drawing for a lovely breakfast!  Please show your HOLIDAY SPIRIT and your BEAR PRIDE, and help us to help others who are in need! 
 
(This contest will take the place of the door decorating contest.)
